On November 13 I visited a splendid Photo
exhibition titled Hungarian Visions by Illes Toth from Hungary at the Art
Gallery of the Hungarian Center.
Inaugurated by another eminent photographer,
Avinash Pasricha, the exhibition was a feat for the eyes. It was easily the
best such event I have been to except that the timing was wrong.
The city was
in a mood for colour and festivity and not photo appreciation even if they were
the most brilliant shots by a creative genius.
I learnt a lesson, that timing of an event is
more crucial than content. I will always remember it.
