Life is full of surprises. Sanjay opens the newspaper to
read that the President of India has sought the state government’s view on the
proposal for his pardon. Sanjay turns hopeful and is about to call his lawyer
but on second thoughts decides not to. His sister Priya Dutt is a politician
and she would advice restraint. Sanjays understands the process is long and
complex. The opposition party has rejected the proposal saying that pardoning
him would be unfair and set a bad precedent to other convicts. Sanjay senses a
sinking feeling. He learns that the BJP and other opposition parties plan to
meet up Mumbai chief minister Prithviraj Chavhan and home minister R R Patil to
discuss the same. Can a miracle happen, will some door open or will life always
be a long struggle?
