Pankaj Kapur, trained at
the National School of Drama is revisiting his passion for theater with
his home production aptly titled Theatron. Kapur reveals that the idea is to
learn from the experience and blend it with the energy of the youth.
Theatron’s debut
production is called Dopehri is a
novella written by Pankaj Kapur, rendered on stage, with lights and music. Set
in the haveli of an old, lonely woman
Amma Bi residing in Lucknow Kapur
brings to life the characters and culture of old Lucknow. Watch it for the
rich content and passion of an actor who has control over the medium.
