Finally a TV Reality Show that is different both in title and content show Mein Khayaal Hoon Kisi Aur Ka, Mujhe Sochta Koi Aur Hai commissioned by & for DD-Urdu Channel. In the literal sense it is the poet who weaves thoughts into words but it is the singer who lends his voice to the composer’s creation and adds emotions to the written word.  So the show is a combination of Shaayri/Ghazal/Classical singing on the same platform by artistes under 25. What makes the show further interesting is that it will be introduced by eminent personalities like Bashir Badr, Javed Akhtar, Ustad. Ghulam Ali, Shabana Azmi, Pt. Nayan Ghosh in a section called ‘Khaas Mulaqat’.

The 18 participants will be judged by a panel of judges like Prof. Waseem Barelvi, Kavita Krishnmurti, Devaki Pandit and Mentors like Ustad Maqbool Hussain, Seema Sehgal and Ibrahim. Mein Khayaal Hoon Kisi Aur Ka, Mujhe Sochta Koi Aur Hai launched on 19 January.

Iss hafte 5 releases hain. Do chotti filmein Dar- Be –Dar aur Paranthe Wali Galli. Zeenat Aman ki lambe arsse ke baad Strings, Nawazuddin Siddiqui  ki long delayed Miss Lovely aur producer Suneel Darshan ke bete Shiv ki launch film Karle Pyaar Karle. 

Sushma Gupta produced aur Sachin Gupta directed Paranthe Wali Galli ek theatre group ki kahani hain jo apne natak ka show karna chahte hain magar durbhhagya vassh nahi kar paate.

Dilli ki barsatiyaan aur tang galliyon mein filmayi gayi ye film nahi realistic hain aur nahi entertaining.

Kahani self indulgent hain, dialogues repetitive aur film ka maqsad confusing.

Ye shayad pehla theatre group hai jo na rehearsal karta hain aur na hi patrra ki taiyaariyaan.

Heroine Naina Kaur har scene mein cheekhti hain aur hero Anuj Saxena apni khushi aur gham ko ek hi sur mein pesh karta hain.

Film ka plus point film ka title hain – afsos na hi hum khaas parathe bante dekhte hain aur na hi khaate hue.

Iske bawajood Parathe Wali Galli ko Big Entertainment Ratings miltee hain 1 star.

Miss Lovely C grade filmein banane wale log aur unke khayalon ki kahaniyaan hain.

Film ka premise anokha hain magar pesh karne ka tarika wohi cigarette/ sharaab/ nasha/ aurat /rupaiye wala.

Ahluwalia ka direction amature hain, camera movements jerky hain aur sound itna bura hain ki aadhe dialogues samajh mein nahi aate.

Miss Lovely bachon ke liye nahi hain, pariwar ke liye nahi hain aur cinema premiyon ke liye toh bilkul nahi hain!

Miss Lovely ko sirf aur sirf Nawazudin Siddiqui ke liye Big Entertainment Ratings milte hain 2 stars – 1 interval ke pehle aur 1 interval ke baad.

Cinema is changing

Remember Manish Jha, director of Matrubhoomi fame, well the director is back with his new film – The Legend of Michael Misra starring Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani, Aditi Rao Hydari and Kayoze Irani in key roles. This will be the first time the father son duo where Boman and Kayoze will be seen sharing screen space.

Currently being shot in Mumbai followed by a schedule in Patna the film will be complete after another schedule in Uttar Pradesh.  Producer Kishor Arora of Eye Candy Films says, “The Legend of Michael Misra is an edgy madcap comedy with a poignant love story at its core. When Manish shared the idea with us, we knew that we wanted to be part of the project because the film matches our company vision. We want to make refreshing subjects that will make all the difference. 

The Legend of Michael Misra is Eye Candy’s second outing after Iranian director Majid Majidi’s Floating Gardens which will also go on the floors in 2014.

Dedh Ishqiyaan seduces and Yaariyaan bores

Vishal Bharadwaj produced aur Abhishek Chaubey directed Dedh Ishqiyaan ek baar phir Khalujaan/ Naseerudin Shah aur Babban/ Arshad Warsi ke karnamon mein hume shamil karti hain. 

Saal 2008 ki Ishqiyaan mein Iftikhar aur Razzak Hussain apne sardar Mushtaq jo unko zinda dafnane wale thhe ko chakma dekar apne purane saathi ke ghar Gorakhpur mein sharan li thi.

Wahan unhe apna dost to nahi mila magar mili uski rangili bewaa Krishna Verma yaane Vidya Balan jisse dekhti hi Khaalu aur Babban ka dil aagaya.

Isqiyaan mein Khaalu aur Babban ne apna raaz ek doosre se chupaya tha, jiska fayda Krishna ne uthaya! Krishna ki ye chalaki ko maaf karte hue, dono ne milkar usse maut aur Mustaq se bachaya tha!!

Ab chaar saal baad Dedh Isqiyaan mein Iftikhar aur Razzak Hussain aapko Mehmudabad mein milenge.

Iftikhaar saab Begum Para ke swayamvar mein shamil hain isliye sherwani pehankar sher sunate hain aur Hussain miya kyon ki Iftikhaar ka peecha kar rahe hain isliye unke khadin bankar unke paas rehte hain.

Iss baar Khaalu aur Babban ke beech koi raaz nahi hain. Khallu ko Begum yaane Madhuri Dixit se ishq hain aur Babban Munniya yaane Huma Qureshi par lattu hogaye hain.

Dedh Isqiyaan mein Lucknow ka mahaul aur mijaaz hain, navaabi kothiyaan, roshandar mehfil, nritya, adab, jasbaad, luft aur zabaan, sabhi kuch hain.

Satyajit Pande ki cinematography, Vishal Bharadwaj ka surila sangit aur tadakedar dialogues, Gulzar ke lyrics, Rekha Bharadwaj ki nashili awaaz aur ensemble performances –Manoj Pahwa, Vijay Raaz, Huma Qureshi, Arshad Warsi, Naseerudin Shah aur Madhuri Dixit.

School ke salana jalse mein students se kuch aisi harkat hoti hain jisse naraaz hokar Principal unhe ek challenge dete hain – ek aisa challange jis par school ki izzat aur desh ka maan tikka hain.

School ka 5 member team Australia ki spardha mein bhaag leta hain jiske baad Australian team final round ke liye India aate hain.

Film Sikkim aur Australia ke khupsurat locations mein shoot ki gayi hai. Problem ye hain ki kahani bohat saare muddon ko uthati hain aur kissi ke saath insaaf nahi karti.
