Hungarian Information
and Cultural Center recently celebrated Bandhani
and Namda: tie-dye
festival with a perspective of how Hungaria views
Indian beauty.
Curated by Mari Nagy and Istvan Vidak from Hungary the exhibition
held at Art Gallery was inaugurated by the Senior Director of Crafts Museum,
Mr. SK Jhan. The special thing about the event was the need to celebrate
textiles and give it a global perspective. It was an aesthetic evening attended by those who care for the weaves and the weavers.
