TV and film writer director Vinita
Nanda initiated The Third Eye a few years ago, a resource centre for information on Sustainable Development,
Climate Change, Health, Legal and Rights Issues, for Media and
Entertainment.
The program is also a consultancy that works with Studios,
Networks and Production Houses and provides insights and planning for Content
Strategy. The Research Engine of the program measures impact of entertainment
upon audiences through exploratory studies and research.
The initiative is in partnership with Asian Centre for
Entertainment Education, Hollywood Health & Society and the University of
Southern California, Los Angeles, USA and is also funded by the Melinda and
Bill Gates Foundation.
The event is marked by two panel discussions followed by felicitation
of experts who have enriched narratives and brought realism to storytelling.
