director Mahesh Dattani and Nandita Das have agreed to form part of a panel
that will critically evaluate the final performance by a group of select actors
chosen to participate in a week long 8-Day actor-training program.
Prof. Dalip Sondhi (lead acting tutor and director – SDDS) and Geraldine Cook (Senior Lecturer in Voice and Associate Dean University of Melbourne, VCA) will be teaching the actors and directing them towards the final performance of a play written by Mahesh Dattani play. Only those who have participated in the Actor Training course with Naseeruddin Shah in Mumbai last June are entitled to the advance course and opportunity to perform in the play. These courses are primarily designed to identify and nurture the incredible wealth of talent in India and present actors of international merit.
