Autistic Day

Today is World Autistic Day and thank God our
films are sensitizing to this and spreading awareness through their films/
roles or supporting such causes. Time was when we thought of the differently
challenged only when we portrayed stories about such characters like Guru Dutt-
Mala Sinha’s Bahurani aur Sanjeev
Kumar’s Khilona. In recent times we
saw Shah Rukh Khan play My Name is Khan
and in times to come there will be many more such films. As they say awareness
is all.
